Meeting the Puppy!

Well – after a very long and frozen drive with temperatures reaching -10 we arrived at Titchy Pig Farm in Lincolnshire – 3 hours after we set out from Hampshire. Was it worth it? OH YES!! Three gorgeous teeny tiny bundles with waggy tails jumping all over us and a lovely opportunity to start bonding with our new pup.

We were made to feel so welcome and spent a lovely hour with the puppies and met the whole family including our puppy’s magnificent Dad – King Louis… hence the name change! Louis was on our list and when we saw him we all decided he wasn’t a Freddy after all – but a little Prince Louis instead! We also met mum – Tilly – a little black lab –  and another Cavador that Chris and Cheryl had kept from a litter last year – a lovely lively bitch called Honey. It was so fantastic to see an adult version of what we would be getting!

All three pups were beautiful but we all felt that Louis wanted to come home with us there and then…it was a real tear to leave him but we’ll be back to pick him up soon!

Visiting Day Tomorrow!

The office dogs Rufio and Rafferty

Its been proven that having dogs in the office is very Feng Shui… well usually I would agree. Our office boy, Rufio, is a Jack Russell crossed with a Pomeranian and is one of the most engaging dogs I’ve ever met. We are lucky enough to have him to stay quite frequently and he is one of the biggest reasons this previous doggie sceptic has done a complete about turn.

This particular day we were treated by the visit of Rufio’s new boy cousin, Rafferty – quite possibly the cutest puppy in the world. Ever. The two of them were utterly adorable all day and although very Feng Shui I’m not sure business was quite as brisk as usual..?!! Jazzy was also in the office that day and has a very warped view of what ‘going to work’ is all about and thinks we play with dogs all day!
